Please Share Your Story.

We as women tend to not share what we are truly feeling except to a select few who are in our inner circle. Bad stories make us feel like we have failed and will be judged by other women, moms, wives, etc. Good stories make us feel like we are bragging and we have been taught to be humble. Either way we tend to keep the stories minor and short.

But one thing I have learned as I continue to share my stories is that each of us has a story that relates in some way to another woman. It could be mom to mom, wife to wife, farmer to farmer or woman to woman. And EVERY time I find that connection I think “Wow, I’m not alone. These feelings I’m having are OK. They are normal.”

I mean seriously we as women need to share our stories, all of our stories. I promise there is a woman out there who will benefit from you sharing your story. You sharing that piece of you will help her in ways you can’t even begin to imagine. It will leave a lasting impact unseen anywhere else.

So whatever your stories are, good or bad, share them. I promise you it will only make a better place for us women.

I’m Amber

Welcome to Caring for Calves and Kids. I’m a 5th generation dairy farmer farming with my parents and husband while trying to raise 3 kids. Life is crazy, messy and so much fun! It’s hard to be a mom and sometimes even harder when you farm. So to ensure no one else feels alone I’m sharing my stories. Enjoy!
