Recently I’ve taken on many new, exciting, scary roles. Each step has come in two cyclical waves – a lot of confidence and “I got this.” Followed by fear and “Oh my gosh what did I get myself into?”
Sometimes these cycles can take a day to go through, other times it can be seconds where you are just continually flipping between confident as all get put and scared out of your mind.
It all really hit me when listen to a webinar about how another young mom got started with her business. She said “You just have to start scared.”
For me, that meant relishing in the confidence that I had something special to offer the world and I was good at it. But it definitely didn’t mean I wasn’t scared. Again, it’s a cycle that just circles around and around. So even if you’re 10 years into a new adventure know that we are all confident some days and scared others. But the important thing is that each day we choose to show up and do the work. We know we can even when the nay sayers in our head say otherwise.
