Caring for Calves and Kids

My kids and I were driving through smalltown USA. No stoplights. Very few stop signs. A car in front of me stops at the stop sign and all of a sudden, I see the passenger side door fly open and it’s one of my best friends, who I hadn’t seen in a while, literally running just to give me a hug!

You see this friend is like a soulmate to me. She knows the good, the bad, the ugly and still loves me. We support each other through the good and the bad. We can go weeks without talking, but a light in our soul ignites as soon as we start chatting again. Even if it’s just a snapchat that says Marco.

So I pray you find yourself a friend who literally will stop traffic just to see you for 10 seconds and give you a hug. We are so busy in our lives, rushing from one place to another and it would have been so easy for her to stop at the stop sign, say “Hey that’s Amber behind me.” and kept right on going.

But instead the love and passion she has and we have for each other truly made a huge impact to me on that day. It made me realize I want a friend who pauses their life, their busy life, just to show their love for me. Because those are truly the best friends to have ❤️
